Musical Cars & Today's Winner
Musical Cars & Today’s Winner
Friday.Dec.4.2020
Waking up this morning I have realized I am back to living the wonderful game of musical cars. Musical cars is a game most people who have street parking in a neighborhood play. Usually it’s an easy game until the 2 days of the week in which due to street cleaning one side becomes a no parking side for a few hours making parking a high commodity of real estate. I am not sure how much a street sweeping ticket is these days however let’s face it paying any money to anyone that was not planned always sucks especially since it goes to the city over a mistake you could have prevented. That’s why it’s great to not have a nice car sometimes. Areas like this always will cause some damage as cars are constantly be shuffled in and out of parking spots that might not always be accomidating to everyone’s car. Bumpers definitely come in handy in this gentle bumper car race. It is this shuffle that starts during the 10 minutes before ticketing begins that creates a unique dance of watching, waiting and sliding into place. Not all residents may be able to park on the street if everyone has an off day. Which is remarkable knowing that this is my first Friday shuffling and even with Covid lockdowns and restrictions I still managed to park not even a house away. I guess luck is on my side. This game of musical cars has proven victorious for their newest player on the block. I know that this game won’t always be in my favor but for now I succeeded in my first new routine. So as the time is now 9 am ticketing will be begin and I’m sipping some delicious coffee in the comforts of my humble abode now sharing just a glimpse into a new day in the LBC. So cheers from my coffee to yours.
Sincerely Me
