Dreaming & Creating

Dreaming & Creating

Mon.Dec.7.2020

Beginning of a new work week. Working on some passion projects with a few friends and also some of my own. Let’s not forget about the normal work load of drawing tattoo flash and normal artwork series. Sometimes I get why I feel I get nothing done. It’s actually quite the opposite though. It’s finding balance between what I can do and what I can not within a day is the only obstacle. Usually it is like School. I have a routine of treating my art like High School. I try to have a schedule of classes set up by deadlines. Other than the deadlines really most of it seems to be classes I love. Some classes are skipped while others I might stay in. However, after a course of a lifetime I’m sure that all of them will get equal amounts of attention. Mostly it is just understanding patience and time. Even the best teachers are still learning. I guess that is why I look forward to always learning as well. It’s not like I’m always the best student either. Good news I am able to realize it. This flaw has allowed me to learn how to learn my why. I guess that’s why it’s nice when I see the work I put in slowly developing into something bigger. It’s an amazing concept to think of it as a seed to a tree. Then realize it might even be a sequoia or a redwood. Overall, it’s having faith in yourself to let life be and maintain schedules even if they are only one’s that we create for ourselves. Either way I feel I’m optimistic in this continuous study and pursuit of creation. Wether it is in any medium I am happy to be schooled and allowed to fail or succeed. It is this understanding of being human that allows me to pretend to be a god in my world. The whole idea is to create something that has already existed just through my own perspective and interpretation. So with that in mind the creations may be juvenile or prolific. Either way they are mine. That is why I love it is Monday or any day for that matter. It’s just another day of creating and living in a world of imagination. It is my escapism to the land of make believe that allows me to work on these endeavors that I hope will at least if only one thing inspire one person it is ok to dream to be big. I do daily and it seems to be one of my favorite things in life.

Never forget to Dream.
